It is a boutique design studio cum art gallery that provide the clients and art lovers an understated elegant open space to experience either for the design consultancy seeking or viewing of the artworks. Its pleasant blend of cosy ambience coined in with meticulous design decisions and input is attributed to improving the overall spatial experience. Artworks are carefully planned and integrated into the space; complimenting the interior space with vigour and energy.
The original residential house was a typical terrace house built in the 80’s with a conventional layout. While most of the original building materials & finishes of the 30-year-old domicile were preserved and remained, some additions of modern but raw materials and finishes like metal, breezeblock, claybrick, raw concrete and cement finishes are introduced to enhance the transformation of the Gallery. Walls which determines hierarchy were demolished & the end result is an open space with no rooms but everything vertical & horizontal within the space becomes an exhibiting plane.
This art gallery has its own distinctive vision - to provide an opportunity for talented artists to surface the Malaysian market and International platform.
We aspire to promote & educate on awareness of art appreciation by having exhibitions to enable ART to be more accessible to the general public; young and old alike.
Typical backyard transformed into a cosy outdoor corner. The brilliant mix of breeze block and unfinished bricks coupled with multi-tier stone layering provides the right blend of mood.
